FABRIC SHOP there is an on-site fabric and haberdashery shop opening hours vary so PLEASE CHECK. Typically, open Tuesday 10.00am to 4.00pm, Wednesday 10.00am to 4.30pm & Friday evenings 7.00pm to 10.00pm. Other times by arrangement & subject to workshops running Message me to check as I am often in, outside of these times.

LET’S GO CRAFTING!

Being creative in the company of others is a great recipe for fun & wellbeing. Add a cuppa & a slice of cake what more could you want! 
By sharing your projects with others, it helps to inspire & encourage creativity, but it’s also great for your own mental health.

The centre offers a light, spacious environment with a downstairs studio room (average size wheelchair accessible) and a large open upstairs space, as well as a small shop area with fabrics, haberdashery and craft supplies. 

We offer a wide range of WORKSHOPS, throughout the year for children and adults and are always adding new experiences and sourcing new tutors to keep it fresh!

If you are interested in joining us, booking in is required for our popular weekly social get togethers. A fun way to join in with others, while away a few hours, meet new friends, be inspired and learn new skills.
You can bring a project to work on, choose from a variety of crafts at the studio, there may be a charge for some of these, Indian block printing, silk painting, mosaics, card making, mandala dotting etc. You can also make syringe driver/bereavement bags for local hospitals, charity patchwork quilts for local people or just sit & natter in our cosy corner (The Nookery). Refreshments provided and of course cake!

BIRTHDAY PARTIES – GROUP BOOKINGS – TEAM BUILDING EVENTS – A MEETING PLACE
Do you have a group of friends that like to meet up a couple of times a year to spend time together having fun? or perhaps a team building event? Then the craft centre could be just the place to book an event. A minimum of 10 guests required to book, a choice of different craft workshops to choose from – message for more details and prices.
PRIVATE GROUPS can hire space for their own club days/nights subject to availability, starts from £25.00ph includes refreshments.

CHILDRENS PARTIES – Aged 8 years upwards catered for – 2 hours allocated. Choice of crafts available. Plenty of notice is required to secure dates due to other workshops being booked at least 6 months ahead.

**Painting parties with Vibrant Art £250.00 for 10 children – choose your own picture design

25/5/24 CLAY DICE THROWER WITH HENRY MOORE – £60.00 – 10.00am to 2.00pm – Join Henry Moore (aka Pot Punk) from the Great Pottery throw down for this creative clay workshop, You will create and make your own design on the day, it will be bisque fired and returned ready for you to paint at home (or at the studio) with acrylic paints/varnish

26/5/24 – ADULT CUSHION WORKSHOP Join Jan in this workshop learning the skill of adding zips and piping onto cushions. The last time we ran this the results were amazing – £35.00 – 9.30am to 1.30pm – you will be required to attend the workshop with 2 x 19″ square pieces of fabric ready cut (help can be given prior to the event at the studio if needed)  zips and piping with be provided. You will also need half a metre of fabric to create your bias for the piping

By the end of the session you will make a tote bag to take away with you.
