HOW TO BOOK – All workshops require you to book a space & pay in advance approx. 2 to 4 weeks before the event to secure the space.  Some workshops are months in advance so a payment request will be sent a month to 2 weeks before the event

FABRIC SHOP there is an on-site fabric and haberdashery shop opening hours vary so PLEASE CHECK. Typically, open Tuesday 10.00am to 4.00pm, Wednesday 10.00am to 4.30pm & Friday evenings 7.00pm to 10.00pm. Other times by arrangement & subject to workshops running Message me to check as I am often in, outside of these times.

LET’S GO CRAFTING!

Being creative in the company of others is a great recipe for fun & wellbeing. Add a cuppa & a slice of cake what more could you want! 
By sharing your projects with others, it helps to inspire & encourage creativity, but it’s also great for your own mental health.

The centre offers a light, spacious environment with a downstairs studio room (average size wheelchair accessible) and a large open upstairs space, as well as a small shop area with fabrics, haberdashery and craft supplies. 

We offer a wide range of WORKSHOPS, throughout the year for children and adults and are always adding new experiences and sourcing new tutors to keep it fresh!

DISABILITY ACCESS – The ground floor studio is accessible by wheelchair and also to the outside patio area. There are ramps available to access these spaces.

WEDNESDAY DAYTIME 10.00am to 4.00pm – £4.00PH
FRIDAY EVENING  7.00pm to 10.00pm – £10.00 a session
If you are interested in joining us, booking in is required for our popular weekly social get togethers. A fun way to join in with others, while away a few hours, meet new friends, be inspired and learn new skills.
You can bring a project to work on, choose from a variety of crafts at the studio, there may be a charge for some of these, Indian block printing, silk painting, mosaics, card making, mandala dotting, stencilling etc. You can also make syringe driver/bereavement bags for local hospitals, charity patchwork quilts for local people or just sit & natter in our cosy corner (The Nookery). Refreshments provided and of course cake!

BIRTHDAY PARTIES – GROUP BOOKINGS – TEAM BUILDING EVENTS – A MEETING PLACE
Do you have a group of friends that like to meet up a couple of times a year to spend time together having fun? or perhaps a team building event? Then the craft centre could be just the place to book an event. A minimum of 10 guests required to book, a choice of different craft workshops to choose from – message for more details and prices.
PRIVATE GROUPS can hire space for their own club days/nights subject to availability, starts from £25.00ph includes refreshments.

CHILDRENS PARTIES – Aged 8 years upwards catered for – 2 hours allocated. Choice of crafts available. Plenty of notice is required to secure dates due to other workshops being booked at least 6 months ahead.
**Mosaics, paper crafting, block printing, lantern making, sewing, dotting – start from £120.00 for 6 children, additional children charged at £15.00 per head
**Painting parties with Vibrant Art £250.00 for 10 children – choose your own picture design
**Ceramic/clay workshops start from £20.00 per child – minimum 10 children required
**Fused Glass workshops £20.00 per head – minimum of 10 children required

Steve from Sewing Machine World will be joining us again with a range of different sewing machines and overlockers, come and have  look, ask questions and have a play on some machines before buying. A range of curtain weight and upholstery fabrics will be for sale starting at £3.00 per metre, plus offcuts and smaller pieces of other fabrics

17/8/24 – GET TO KNOW YOUR SEWING MACHINE – 10.00am – 1.00pm – £35.00 – Have you got a sewing machine but too scared to take it out of the box or maybe not used a machine since school?? this workshop will teach you the basics of threading, bobbins and learning what the dials and stitches are on your machine. By the end of the session you will make a tote bag to take away with you. If you don’t have a machine but would like to learn then you can use a studio one, the Brother SH40 – These machines are also available to purchase from the centre
